Bergen Kunsthall x Ideophone pres. DJ Haya (PLE) & fxggxt (NO)

Haya is a Palestinian DJ based in Haifa. A genre bending DJ, focusing on a driving energy and a bouncy bassline, Haya's sets create a funky hybrid atmosphere that mix hard groove, old school techno, cheeky dembow and some nostalgic trashy tunes. 

Still a young DJ Haya already obtained a monthly residency show at the London-based Aaja music Radio, have performed at the notorious Kit Kat Club, Re:mise Berlin, Fitzroy and more. 

Coming from the Palestinian Queer Community in Haifa, Haya stood out for creating a space of acceptance and self expression in her sets, and have played in every queer party line in the area - starting from Kabareet club, to small raves organized by independent queer collectives.

Chris Stavaas aka. fxggxt is a resident DJ at Krill Foundation where he loves playing grooving hypnotic techno for non-stop ecstatic dancing. He started DJing to fill a void in the queer nightlife scene of Bergen, and is now hosting the monthly club concept “Kincken” at Fincken Bar where he plays and invites local DJ’s to join him behind the decks to play anything from minimal techno to disco and beyond.
